The carbon cycle is the biochemical cycle by which carbon atoms exchange in the biosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere of the Earth. The carbon cycle comprises a sequence of events that are key to making the Earth capable of having life. The carbon cycle is important because if it didn't exist we would be living in an Earth full of waste products and dead bodies.
